Gold Vs Platinum

Gold has been highly cherished and thought to be the most precious thing in the world. But lately a new competitor has raided the scene and dethroned gold to take the lead as the world’s most rare and most expensive among the precious metals.

One main reason that makes it more precious than any silver or gold besides its rarity is its ability to withstand the forces. It is hard, and unlike gold, does not need alloying, so its found in its purest form, and it does not degrade with time. Even white gold, the most expensive gold, needs re-platinizing with rhodium for it to retain the whitish luster. Platinum however has an everlasting shine and the luster simply never fades.
