Silver is classified as one of the precious metals, but not the top one as gold proudly sits there. But with these metals, top does not always mean the best. In fact, there are a lot of reasons why you should seriously consider getting silver instead of gold.

The first obvious thing is the price. Silver is way more affordable than gold. Then there is the issue of durability. Gold usually has to be alloyed with other metals as it is considered to be ‘fragile’.
